Growing up

I grew up in a small town called Saratoga (population ~30,000) in Northern California. As the youngest of four boys, I was always competitive about something whether it was basketball or Nintendo. My father was an accountant and his passion for numbers definitely rubbed off on me. I remember as far back as 2nd grade when it was a race in math class to be the first student to finish a quiz on addition and subtraction - and if I lost, I was devastated.

The passion for numbers continued through college. In 2008, I graduated from the University of San Diego (USD) with a Bachelor's in Accounting. After working for a couple years, I recently returned to USD to get my second Bachelor's - in Computer Science this time.
